Greg Kennedy has spent 40 years perfecting his art.

Greg graduated with honors from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas with a BS in Biology. Following graduation in 1972, Greg turned to his passion, ceramics, and has been a studio potter and ceramics teacher since that time. Greg has been teaching pottery and ceramics at Idyllwild Arts for 26 years.

Greg's focus and inspiration is mountain topography and is continually charmed by nature. Greg is respectful of traditional pottery and enjoys meeting indigenous potters and learning from them in his global travels. Greg's studio now resides in Deadwood where he continues his passion for pottery and enjoys the beautiful Coast Range in Oregon.

Drum base. Dimensions - 16 " high, 12" diameter top, 4" diameter base. Canvas or leather can be stretched over top to create a beautiful one of a kind piece.

All pieces are one of a kind and feature unique shapes and glazing. Unlike mass produced or factory made products, all handmade art and pottery are made with natural clays and materials. Glazing varies and is sometimes modeled and/or lighter in areas which adds character and provides a one of a kind unique work of art.
